Balthazar 1.5 is a utility that properly converts Microsoft Windows' WAVE sound files into System 7 clickable sounds or vice versa. There is no guessing on the sample rate. Balthazar is intelligent and will calculate out the appropriate data. Ergo, there will be no additional clicks or noises (assuming the sample is clean).
Many improvements over Balthazar 1.0:
* Converts in both directions
* added 16 bit sample support
* Draws waveforms
* Asynchronous Play so long sounds can be canceled
* And much much much more!
Balthazar 1.5 is shareware, I will be real surprised if anyone sends me the fee for this since it's one of those utilities you tend to use now and then to convert some sounds and you're done with it. Never the less, a lot of work went into it, too much in fact! If I do get some fees, I will add the following goodies:
